I love the packaging, you get a mirror and a lil applicator. the metallic berry shade is an EXACT dupe of MAC cranberry. I put them side by side, its almost as vibrant also. The shade is dead on, you will not be disappointed, this is a very flattering shade for aa faces. The brownish shade is a good matte chocolate brown burgundy type shade for creasing.
This is the first "adult" lip gloss I've owned. I've avoided them. But in a desperate need for a lip color, I found this and really like it. The color suits me very well. The only caveat is that it does wear off fairly quickly. So I do reapply a couple of times during the day. The taste isn't horrible. It is sticky, but hey, its lip gloss right! I will buy this again.
Terrible liner! I found that it was not creamy enough and did not glide well on my upper lid. It was also very irritating in my eye. I've used much cheaper products that had better results. I would stay away from these!
Inexpensive yet very nice!!! I love the soft brush. I find that this mascara is perfect for a subtle look, great for everyday wear. Doesn't clump much at all. Overall my favorite mascara to use on a daily basis! I would definitely recommend this product!
Pros:inexpensive, soft brush Cons:does not take well to double coats
I love saucy. this eye shadow makes my eyes pop. The goldish part of it looks great on brown skin. I've been wearing this shadow since it came out. It's also a save color for work because it isn't too loud. Very pigmented.
Not a huge fan. Looks beautiful in the commercials, with the gorgeous actresss...but in reality, it is super-clumpy and hard-to-use! Black is not black enough...overall disappointing and kind of expensive!
This is the only eyeliner besides Estee Lauder's kohl smudging eyeliner that I've bought over and over again throughout the years. While it does smudge on the inner corner of my eye, it does last all day. I have oily eyelids so that may have something to do with it. It's really creamy in consistency so it glides on really well and doesn't tug at the eye. It's really really black which is what I wanted. I don't like it when an eyeliners says it's black and then it comes out greyish. You can typically get this bogo at some drugstore anywhere so it's really a good buy. I can never find the black ones in stock so when I do, I buy a couple.
Pros:Last all day, is waterproof, creamy, sturdy container Cons:Does smear a little
This was simply an OK foundation. The coverage was good, but it didn't last long like it claims(I have oily skin btw). I didn't break me out, and it wasn't overly perfumed or stinky. The consistency was kind of thick, close to pudding. I liked that, because I could pump it(love the pump for keeping teh product free of bacteria) and have a small blob on my hand I could dip by foundation brush in. I like the glass bottle it comes in and the pump, but the lid doesn't stay on well at all. It's kind of annoying how easily it pops off. It spreads well, and I got really nice even coverage. It didn't settle into lines, didn't get cakey, and looked nice and smooth. If you don't have oily skin you may find that you like this, but for my skin it just wore off too quickly. For that reason I would not repurchase.
Pros:Good coverage, no breakouts, no bad smells, applies beautifully, doesn't settle into lines Cons:Wears off too quickly, lid is annoying
In a word? Hate. I have never used a mascara before that performed so poorly. What a huge let down. I ended up taking this back. The base went on fine, but when I used the comb to add the mascara it turned into the ugliest, clumpiest lashes I had ever seen! I do not recommend this to anyone.
This was a terrible product. It comes in a duo with shades called shimmer and twinkle. I tried it as an eyeshadow and it litterly melted right off with and without my primer. The colors are ok, but the shimmer had no pigmentation at all just a faint sandy shimmer. The packaging is nice it is in a little compact with a mirror underneath.
Pros:nice packaging Cons:has no staying power at all
Pros:Provides great base for e/s or just to wear & look more awake. e/s doesn't crease upto 6 hrs Cons:Product is little difficult to apply unless the eyelid is moisturised well otherwise it leaves dry patches. Also the bottle of de-crease that I got seemed half emply or is it supposed to be half empty?
My Hg peach blush. one pan of this stuff last years. Comes in a nice compact with great brush and mirror. It has good staying power and I think it sucks up oil quite well. It's not too shimmery, but just right. Feel free to spend the 11 bucks, cause it will last forever.
Pros:Cute, long lasting, sucks up oil, not to shimmery Cons:none
I didn't like this pressed powder. I thought it was very chalky and it didn't feel comfortable to wear at all.
I felt like I was wearing a mask and it felt sooo unnatural.
I tried two different shades and both ended up making me look chalky and even paler than usual even though they weren't pale shades.
Gave coverage but not in a good way.
Pros:Thick coverage for those wanting to hide blemishes and so on. Cons:Felt like my skin couldn't breath, chalky, not a good variety of shades, too thick.
I had 3 MAC Fluidlines that all dried up after a couple of uses. I was more than bummed.
Then I got 2 L`Oreal H.I.P. cream liners and even after many uses they are still like new! The colors (I have black and midnight blue) are very intense, the consistency is nice and creamy.
Pros:color intensity comparable to MAC Fluidlines, at a better price. Can also be used as a base for darker e/s colors Cons:comes only in basic colors
I'm completely in love with this!! Don't let the color scare you away. I thought it was pretty bright but i'm getting into the whole "wanna try new things" mode right now and saw this. I would typically never buy this but i did (along with two other red shades and i dont wear red). I tried it on not knowing what to expect and i swear to you it is beautiful!!! The purplish tint looks great on my complexion (EDM: Olive Golden Medium). What i love about it is that the more you pile on, the more its true to the color you see in the tube. You put on a little and get a hint of it as well and it still looks pretty. What really surprised me is that i don't remember colour juice being so smooth feeling. The reason i hated it in the first place was because how sticky it felt and it seemed to bleed. Now its very smooth feeling and silky! When i run out, i'm definitely buying it again!!
Pros:Smooth, not sticky, pretty shade, last a long time Cons:none!!
I think the name holographic is misleading. You would think this would have some shine to it, but it doesn't. When applied it is almost matte. The pigmentation is poor. I have to apply a lot to get some color. It doesn't apply very smoothly or blend well at all. I also get lots of fall out. I am really disappointed in this shadow. I have tried it many times, and finally decided to just toss it. It's too bad, because I really like a lot of L'Oréal's other shadows. Definitely not worth it.
Pros:Packaged nicely Cons:So many. Poorly pigmented, doesn't apply smoothly, doesn't blend well, lots of fall out, etc.
I only got this after reading so many reviews so I absolutely had to try it. I didn't get it on sale because I was antsy about buying asap but I didn't care either. I immediately fell in love with it and knew that I had found my HG liner. After a month of using it, I now realize it is a good liner but I also believe it dries out too quickly on the brush when I'm applying it. I love the consistency, the color intensity and the fact that it does last all day on my oily eyelids (from 8am-10pm as a matter of fact.) I once fell asleep with it on and the eyeliner was still in place, just a little smudged on my oily lids. You do need a rather strong oil-based eye-makeup remover because face wash and water will simply not do for this. I have also heard that many people would rather buy MAC for a couple bucks more, but you can more than likely buy this on sale BOGOF, plus one look at the container and you can tell you're getting way more as well. I've read reviews for MAC's Fluidline in Blacktrack and I don't have time to reapply the liner 10 times to get the same pigment I get with L'Oreal in 1-2 swipe(s). Plus not many of us are living next door to a MAC retail store either. Now the brush is extremely rough and scratchy feeling on my hand (I didn't dare risk it on my eyelid) and it's better off for grooming your eyebrows with. You definitely need to buy your own brush. Lately, though my only complaint about it is that when I'm applying my liner with the brush, it does seem to dry rather quick so you have to keep dipping your brush to grab the color.
Pros:Last all day Cons:some want like that its hard to remove, only good if you buy on bogo, dries fairly quick for some
